These are the rules for using InSplit. By using the app or a shared bill link, you agree to them.

Who provides InSplit

InSplit is provided by Kevin Kheira, an individual, at 16915 SE 272nd St, Ste 100 #8131, Covington, WA 98042, USA. You can reach us at support@insplit.app.

What InSplit does

InSplit helps you split a bill. It reads a receipt, lets each person pick what they had, and shows what everyone owes. It does not hold or move money. It links out to payment apps, and payments happen in your payment app, between you and the person you are paying.

The numbers the app shows are a help, not a promise. Check a receipt against the bill before you rely on it.

Using it well

Bill and group links

Anyone who has a bill's link can open it and see its lines, prices, first names, and the usernames, emails or phone numbers friends can pay the host with. Anyone who has a group's link can see the same for the group, plus who owes whom and what has happened in it, can add a name, and can record or undo a payment. Share a link only with the people it's for. If a link reaches someone else, we can't take it back: a bill's link works until the bill expires, and a group's link has no end date.

Your account

You can use InSplit as a guest, or sign in. You can delete your account at any time in the app. The privacy policy says what happens to your data.

As is

InSplit is provided as is, without any promise that it will always work or be free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using it, including a bill that was split wrongly or a payment that went to the wrong person.

Changes

We may change the app or these terms. We change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using InSplit after a change, you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
